ChinaConnect247 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Canton Fair or its organizers. Always confirm dates, phases, venues, badges, visas, and entry rules through official sources before travelling.

Before you travel

  • Define the product categories, target price range, certifications, order volume, and markets you need.
  • Build a shortlist, but leave time to discover unfamiliar suppliers.
  • Prepare a concise company introduction and save your ChinaConnect247 profile summary.
  • Confirm travel documents, accommodation, local transport, connectivity, and payment access.

During supplier meetings

Ask about minimum order quantity, sample policy, production capacity, lead time, tooling, quality control, certifications, export markets, payment terms, and whether production is in-house. Record the contact name, booth, product, next action, and promised deadline immediately.

Evaluate carefully

A busy booth or polished catalogue is not due diligence. Verify the legal company, factory capability, certificates, samples, references, contracts, payment instructions, and inspection plan before placing an order.

Follow up after the fair

Send a short message within two business days. Restate the product, specification, quantity, market, required documents, and next decision. Compare suppliers using the same criteria. The fair is where you meet; the network is what remains afterward.
