English service guide and inquiry

Turn Canton Fair conversations into decisions you can follow up.

Plan which products and suppliers to investigate, record what was actually discussed and leave with a comparison and next-question list. ChinaConnect247 offers independent sourcing preparation and coordination; on-site attendance or interpreting is included only when explicitly agreed and available.

For buyers preparing a fair visit or returning with cards, photos, samples and inconsistent quotations. A booth visit or badge is a lead to investigate, not supplier verification or purchase approval.

Scope and practical next steps

01

Prepare a brief that makes meetings useful

Start with function, materials, quantity, destination, packaging, target cost and unacceptable substitutions. Select the appropriate phase and plan time for focused questions rather than collecting the largest card stack.

  • Use official Canton Fair channels for schedules, registration and exhibitor information; do not rely on this page for current event dates.
  • Ask who sells, makes and exports the exact model, and what is subcontracted.
  • Request price/currency, quantity tier, Incoterm/named place, sample cost, lead time and quotation validity.
02

Keep source evidence linked to real conversations

My Fair can save a contact from one clear business-card photo. Review extraction and keep product evidence linked to that supplier. Record a meeting only when it happened; an automatically linked product or scanned card does not establish a meeting.

  • Distinguish a booth claim, your observation and a document that needs checking.
  • Confirm local captures have synced before clearing device/browser data; research and email need connectivity.
  • Use Company/Risk research where available for your selected destination, subject to setup and remaining allowance.
03

Follow up with deliberate approvals

Group open questions by supplier and model, normalize competing quotations and agree the next sample or verification step. Research reports and draft messages do not authorize orders, deposits or supplier contact.

  • In My Fair, review the actual recipient, message, signature and attachments before choosing to send.
  • For managed coordination, approve the outreach scope and recipients before the coordinator contacts suppliers.
  • Keep sample acceptance, independent checks and purchase decisions separate from a supplier’s promised follow-up.

What you receive

  • A product/meeting preparation brief and priority question list.
  • An organized evidence and quotation comparison for the agreed candidate set.
  • A post-fair action plan with owners, missing documents and sample decisions.
  • Approved outreach/meeting coordination only where included; no invented supplier responses.

What to prepare for your brief

  • Products, destination and which official fair phase/dates you plan to attend.
  • Supplier/booth candidates, existing cards, quotations and product evidence.
  • Budget, quantity, language needs and whether support is remote or requested on-site.
  • Who approves outreach and spending; any deadlines after the fair.

Quotation method and indicative fees

Fair preparation and follow-up are quoted by product range, supplier count, language, remote/on-site scope and follow-up period. The existing report and RFQ/sample-plan ranges below are possible components, not a standard fair package. Attendance, interpreting, travel, samples and provider costs must be expressly quoted.

Managed Supplier Decision Report
US$100-US$500
RFQ, specification, and sample plan
US$300-US$1,500

Indicative USD ranges from our Services & Pricing page. Your written quotation controls the fee, deliverables, payment arrangements and separate charges.

Timing and readiness

Preparation depends on your visit dates and the agreed scope. Post-fair replies and samples depend on supplier availability. On-site attendance, factory access and interpreters are not reserved by an inquiry.

Scope limits and separate work

  • Independent support is not official Canton Fair registration, event representation or a promised booth introduction.
  • We do not promise on-site availability, supplier replies, purchases or exclusive access.
  • Cards, exhibition listings and research scores do not certify companies, products or payment safety.

Questions about canton fair sourcing support

Are you the official Canton Fair app?

No. The official organizer app supports registration and event features. ChinaConnect247 and My Fair are separate independent sourcing/research services.

Can someone attend or interpret with me?

Describe the dates, languages and locations. We will confirm availability, provider identity, scope and charges; this page does not promise attendance.

Can I use this after the fair?

Yes. Existing cards, genuine meeting notes, quotations and documents can form a post-fair brief. Identify which claims still need independent confirmation.

Will scanning a card contact the supplier?

No. Saving a card or creating research does not send a message. Buyer-reviewed sends and separately approved managed outreach are deliberate steps.
