Makeup tools · Philippines
清单概览
The Philippine e-commerce market is large and growing (estimates range USD 18–28B for 2025, with double-digit growth forecast), and beauty is a major online category — one source claims beauty products account for 50.5% of online shoppers. However, the evidence provided contains no direct demand data for makeup tools specifically; the signals are category-level (beauty, skincare, health & wellness) and platform-level (Shopee dominance, social commerce). Competition in beauty tools on Shopee/Lazada is likely high, so differentiation and sample-first validation are critical. Import barriers for non-regulated cosmetics tools are generally low, but any product making skin-contact or medical claims may attract FDA scrutiny. Given no personal budget is supplied, the plan emphasizes low-cost sample orders and marketplace testing before committing to bulk inventory.
Silicone makeup brush cleaning mats with suction base
This is a low-cost, lightweight, non-regulated makeup tool accessory that solves a recurring hygiene problem and is easy to sample-test on Shopee. It fits a sample-first marketplace model because unit economics allow small trial orders and quick listing tests without large capital commitment.
First step: Source 20–50 units from a China supplier via Alibaba or 1688, list on Shopee PH as a sample test, and track conversion and reviews for 30 days before reordering.

Makeup tools / accessories
Beauty is a high-traffic online category in the Philippines (beauty products cited as accounting for 50.5% of online shoppers in one source), and makeup tools are a natural adjacency. No direct demand data for this specific item is in the evidence, so this is a hypothesis grounded in category strength.

- Search Shopee PH and Lazada PH for each product to count active listings, note price ranges, and identify top-selling competitors (use platform search and sort by sales).
- Run Market Intelligence 2 on each shortlisted product + Philippines to obtain demand signals and competition metrics.
- Order 1–3 samples from Alibaba/1688 suppliers and inspect quality, packaging, and shipping time; calculate landed cost including freight and duties.
- Check FDA Philippines requirements for any product making skin-contact or cosmetic claims; verify if cosmetic notification is needed.
- Test listings with small ad spend (e.g., Shopee Ads) for 2–4 weeks to measure click-through and conversion before reordering.
需谨慎考虑的创意
Liquid makeup brush cleanser (bottled)
Liquid cosmetic products are regulated by FDA Philippines and require notification; shipping liquids is costly and risk of leakage. Evidence does not confirm demand, and regulatory burden is high for a sample-first model.
Electric makeup brush cleaner (battery/USB)
Electronics may require certification (e.g., BPS) and higher entry cost; evidence shows no demand signal for this specific item, and competition from established brands is likely high.
Generic makeup brush sets without differentiation
Crowded category with high competition and low margins; evidence shows beauty is strong but brushes are commoditized, making it hard for a new importer to compete without brand or design differentiation.
