Liste özeti
Pakistan's e-commerce market is growing rapidly, with electronics being the largest category (24% share) and fitness trackers specifically cited as highly sought-after on Daraz. However, import barriers are significant: documentation requirements, potential regulatory hurdles for wireless devices, and logistics friction. The market is price-sensitive with cash-on-delivery dominating (95% of users), so low-ticket, high-margin items work best. A sample-first approach is critical to validate demand and quality before committing to bulk orders. Competition is high in generic electronics, so differentiation through niche features or bundling is key.
Basic fitness tracker with heart rate and step counting (no GPS, no smartwatch features)
Fitness trackers are explicitly named as a high-demand item on Daraz, and basic models can be sourced at low cost from China, leaving room for margin even at competitive price points. The sample-first model allows testing demand without large inventory commitment, and the product is small and light, reducing shipping costs.
First step: Order 3-5 sample units of basic fitness trackers from Alibaba or AliExpress suppliers, test functionality and build quality, and list them on Daraz and social media to gauge interest before placing a bulk order.
